BE A STAR AT THE LONE STAR STAMPEDE!

We have several opportunities for registered convention attendees to participate in the 2008 National Sweepstakes Convention. Read all of the topics below and feel free to contribute to any of the categories that interest you. We cannot guarantee that we will use all of the material submitted, but we will try to include as much as possible. All videos, CDs, DVDs and photographs submitted will be returned to the sender at the convention in San Antonio. Please be sure that anything you submit has your full name, address and contact information on it or we will not be able to return it to you.

Winning Pictures

New opportunity added!

We are now collecting photographs of sweepers with their prizes. Whether it is a new car, a trip or a baseball cap or t-shirt...send them to us! Don't be shy, this is your BIG CHANCE to show all your friends what you have won!

All of the photos we receive will be combined in a slideshow that will be shown on two big screens several times during the convention depending on how many people participate. We cannot accept photos that are mailed. Here are the guidelines for sending your photos:

You may send up to five (5) photos per person attending the convention.

Be sure to include your Name, City and State and the names of anyone else in the photo, the name of the sweepstakes, a description of the prize (if necessary) and the date the photo was taken. If it's a prize you won some time ago, then just give us your best guess of what year it was.

WELCOME VIDEO

A video will be shown at the beginning of the 2008 National Sweepstakes Convention in San Antonio, Texas. We are asking you to help us by providing 10-15 second videos of a package/prize being delivered to you and your reaction as you greet the delivery person whether it be FedEx, UPS, DHL or USPS. The film can be shot at your home, office or outside. We will have our own soundtrack playing on the finished video, so nothing you say on the film will be heard. When you make your video, ham it up, act surprised, get excited! Pretend you just won something BIG! You are welcome to have extra people in your video, especially your spouse and/or children. Email the completed video to beastar@lonestarstampede.com with WELCOME VIDEO in the subject line and your Name, City and State in the body of the message. You can also mail your video, CD or DVD to the address below. All materials must be received by April 1, 2008.

CONSUMER REPORTS FOR SWEEPSTAKERS

We are planning a session involving the testing of products, both computerized and non-computerized, that target sweepstakers. If you would be interested in testing a product for us, send an email to beastar@lonestarstampede.com with CONSUMER REPORTS in the subject line and your name, address and phone number in the body of the message. The Lone Star Stampede will pay all expenses associated with the product you are asked to test. If you are selected as one of our "Secret Testers" you must be capable of talking about your experiences on the platform in front of 1,000 people at the convention. You must also agree to keep everything confidential until after the convention in August 2008. We will be selecting our testers early in 2008, so submit you information as soon as possible if you are interested. We will make every effort to select testers who are not associated in any way with the products they will be testing. We will notify and receive approval from the product owners or suppliers participating in this test, but they will not know who the "Secret Testers" are. If you have a sweepstaking product or service and would like to volunteer to let us test it, please send an email to gwen@lonestarstampede.com.

BIG WINNERS!

Do you have a video of a really big win? Something that would be exciting for others to watch? We would love to include YOU in a video that will be shown at the National Convention. You can email video clips that are 30 seconds or less to beastar@lonestarstampede.com with BIG WINNERS in the subject line and your name, city and state in the message along with the date and a brief description of the event on the video. Or you can mail your video, CD or DVD that is no longer than 3 minutes to the address below along with the same information requested for emails. All materials must be received by April 1, 2008.

A TRIBUTE TO SWEEPERS NO LONGER WITH US!

Many of our sweepstaking friends have passed away and we would like to celebrate our joy in having known them. If you know of a sweepstaker who was active on the national boards or attended any of the conventions and should be included in this Tribute, please provide us with their information and one or two photographs. We would prefer to have a picture of them enjoying something they won, but will accept other photos as well. Be sure to include the first and last name of the person in the picture, the year of their death, their city and state, a description of the prize (if the photo contains a prize) and anything else you consider necessary. Mail this information to the address below by April 1, 2008 or you can email your pictures to beastar@lonestarstampede.com. Be sure to put LSS TRIBUTE in the subject line and the requested information in the body of the message.

SUGGESTION BOX

Your input is important to us and provides valuable ideas for the Lone Star Stampede as well as future conventions. Please submit any ideas or suggestions you may have for the convention to gwen@lonestarstampede.com. If we are unable to use the suggestions we receive we will pass them on to future convention hosts to help them in planning their conventions.

All videos, CDs, DVDs and photographs submitted to the 2008 National Sweepstakes Convention may be shown to everyone attending and may also be used in the convnetion video produced by Jeff Crosno and James Perry. By submitting these items you are giving us full rights and permissions to use them and any accompanying information as needed.
